Lazy Sunday # 203: Shake On It

The 49ers beat the Saints with 9 seconds to go after the lead changes four times in the last four minutes.

The Patriots crush a team half the country was rooting for.

And there will be more of the same today.

Monday is gonna be rough on a lot of guys.

Enjoy Your Sunday…

So far the home team is six for six, with the Ravens currently up by two TDs. So if you are a traditionalist, the games have been very enjoyable. What has been quite unenjoyable are the never-ending promos for CTV's U.S. programs, repeated so often that I cringe at the thought of watching any of these shows. The few ads that CTV has managed to sell are also repeated so frequently the audience must be nauseous by half time.

This has gone on for all the decades CBC, then Global and now CTV have carried NFL games and underscores that we have built a broadcasting system on the backs of U.S. content with an advertising economy too small to support the system.
